Design influenced by culture, landscape and materiality
My design process has a strong focus on the social and cultural factors that influence the design of space. I love to explore the ingeniuity of Aboriginal design and perspectives in Architecture and translate to a contemporary context and incorporate them into the design of places.

A co-design with David Magenner Gough and the palawa community. The lina (bush hut) was constructed at Trevallyn Reserve for MONA FOMA 2020. A celebration of palawa (Tasmanian Aboriginal) architecture and food, sound and story, on the outskirts of Launceston.





The Dwelling
The dwelling, a collaboration with James Tylor draws inspiration from traditional South – East Indigenous dwellings used during winter periods. This is translated into a contemporary dwelling using a modular design and western building construction methods.
